Karl Heideck Simplifies Pennsylvania’s Employment Law

Having practiced law in a number of contract law and employment disciplines for more than ten years, Philadelphia-based attorney Karl Heideck works relentlessly to help businesses carry out the best interests of their employees.

Karl Heideck revealed some factors to take into account about the workforce. He gave the example of how a business must follow the practices of the Pennsylvania Child Labor Law when providing work for legal minors or persons under the age of 18.

He indicated while the federal Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, (EEOC), may come to mind first, small businesses should recognize the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the state’s Human Relations Act may have more fair hiring practices guidelines than the EEOC.
